Dumb, but my life is infinitely improved because Salesforce/Exacttarget finally changed the way you add contacts to Journey Builder by adding Journey Builder Audiences. Hopefully it works, but looks promising.

Selling my Strange Camera Lenses
After buying a Canon 60mm 2.8 lens for a project where I’m photographing old slides and being amazed at the image quality, I’m selling off some of my older lenses that I’m just not satisfied with anymore.
The Tokina AT-X PRO DX AF SD 16-50 mm f/2.8 is a wonderful lens and it takes really great photos, but two things about it drive me nuts. One, it’s really heavy, and two, it racks out “backwards” from canon lenses (so, like a Nikon lens) and this drives me crazy.
The other major lens I’m getting selling off is the Tamron 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD. This lens is a great walk around lens and there really aren’t any other lenses in its price range that can touch its zoom range, but it’s horribly slow on the long end, and, again, it racks out like a Nikon lens, which drives me nutty.
Meditation
Life Tips by Chadman:
If you want to rest but don’t want people to mess with you or call you lazy, then don’t say you’re taking a break or taking a nap, say you’re going to practice meditation. They’ll think you’re doing good self help stuffs.
32 Hours 7 Minutes Site Upgrade
Just finished a project moving the 32 Hours 7 Minutes website from WordPress 2 to WordPress 3. The site had been built on the K2 theme and since the K2 theme dropped a lot of its features in the WP3 version the site needed a new theme created for it.
Finally getting the upper hand on CSS
Fully dynamic menus and site logo/header use CSS background images. Fun! http://www.twistypedia.com
Twistypedia now moved to WordPress
Phew! I just finished my crash course in CSS and WordPress page template making. Still have a few more things to finish (dynamic menus, move template images to CSS), but overall I’m pretty happy (…and my brain is well cooked). Plus, the site just looks way better now.
Check it out @ Twistypedia.
The great move
Going to move twistypedia.com off of the current Drupal platform and move it here to my WordPress admin. So tired of D7 being wonky and “not quite working”. Seems like things will be much more stable over here on WP.
MySQL and PHP
Having fun with these two languages while building a site with a friend. Can’t show any of it yet. It’s a good idea that needs to stay under wraps for a while.
Let the work hunt begin!
Dang. I’ve been very fortunate in the first half of this year for not having to hunt for clients. Now the work from the familiar companies is drying up, I’m going to have to hustle to get work for the rest of the year.
Crazy Idea
I’m beginning to think that Doritos might be upsetting to my stomach. Booo.
